Candidate Details Tab
The Candidate Details tab collects the candidate’s full record in one scrollable view, so you never have to hunt across pages during a review.
You can correct or complete a candidate’s contact information at any time.
1
Open the Edit Candidate modal
From the candidate’s profile, open the edit option to update their record.
2
Update the editable fields
You can change the candidate’s first name, last name, email, phone, LinkedIn URL, and current city.
3
Replace the resume if needed
Upload a new PDF, DOC, or DOCX file up to 10 MB. The previous resume is replaced, and the re-upload is logged in the Candidate Journey.
Edits made by your team update the candidate’s record for this application. Each change is attributed to the team member who made it, so there is a clear audit trail.
The Candidate Journey
The Candidate Journey tab is a complete activity timeline for the application. It records more than 30 event types, each attributed to the team member or candidate who triggered it. Events you will see in the timeline include:- Application events: submitted application, updated candidate details, re-uploaded resume
- Pipeline events: changed stage, updated status, changed assignee, moved to a different job post
- Team activity: starred this candidate, updated notes, submitted scorecard
- Emails: sent or scheduled assessment invites, AI interview invites, video interview invites, custom stage invites, and rejection emails
- Offer events: offer email and offer letter activity, from sent and viewed to signed, completed, voided, or declined
Attachments and Notes
Beyond the CV, a candidate’s profile can hold supporting files and your team’s private commentary. Attachments let you keep portfolios, take-home submissions, or reference documents with the candidate. Every attachment shows whether it was uploaded by a Recruiter or the Candidate.
Notes are free-form, per-candidate comments visible to your team. Use them for interview impressions, context from referrals, or anything that does not fit a structured field. Note updates appear in the Candidate Journey, and notes are included when you export applications to CSV or Excel.
Notes and attachments live on the application, alongside stage, status, and starred state. They are internal to your team and are never shown to the candidate.
Unverified Candidates
Candidates who apply directly through your job post link verify their email as part of applying. Candidates added by your team, for example through Bulk CV Import, start out unverified. You can spot an unverified candidate by the amber icon next to their email address. Hovering over it shows an Email not verified popover, where you can copy a verification link to share with the candidate directly.Related Resources
